Finding Common Ground:
Heart to Heart Community Reception
At Heart to Heart, we believe in the power of youth to build a better future, one rooted in justice, equality, and solidarity across lines of difference. We work with young Palestinian and Jewish citizens of Israel, equipping them with the skills, tools, and support they need to lead this change together.
These past few years have been incredibly painful for everyone in the region. Fear and division are running high. But in the midst of that pain, we’re reminded why our work matters more than ever, and why we’re so grateful to have you with us.
This summer, we are bringing a group of university students—half Palestinian, half Jewish—to Canada for a 10-day Leadership and Solidarity Retreat, in partnership with Tel Aviv University. The group will spend their first week at Camp Shomria, engaging in workshops, team-building, and deep conversations about leadership, identity, and solidarity. They will then head to Toronto for three days of programming, culminating in our annual community event, Finding Common Ground: The Heart to Heart Community Reception.
Join us to hear firsthand from the participants about their time at camp and about their academic course that preceded it. Together we will celebrate their accomplishments and send them home knowing that they have a community of support encouraging them to take it forward back in Israel.
